Meditation in Earlwood

A quieter, steadier mind, taught with real grounding.

Meditation at Adiyoga in Earlwood is taught within our classical yoga and Kriya practice rather than as a standalone technique. As you learn the postures, breath and Kriyas, meditation becomes a natural place the practice leads you to. The beginner course includes a simple Kriya meditation, and AUM chanting runs through the practice.

What it is

In our tradition, meditation grows out of the practice rather than sitting apart from it. Learned through the body, with breath and posture supporting it, stillness becomes far more accessible.

The beginner course includes a Kriya meditation, and AUM chanting is woven through the wider practice. This is meditation with real grounding, learned in the right order.

Who it is for

  • Anyone wanting to quiet a busy mind with a real method
  • Yoga students ready to deepen into stillness
  • People who have tried apps and want something with depth
  • Those seeking balance, clarity and better sleep

How it is taught

Because meditation here is part of the yoga and Kriya practice, you learn it in a calm, guided setting alongside the breath and posture that support it. Nothing is rushed or forced.

Over time you build the ability to settle the mind on your own, at home, as part of a daily practice. That steadiness is the real goal.

I never imagined myself as the type for daily yoga. Until I discovered Isha Hatha Yoga here. The teaching method is so carefully crafted to help you build a regular practice and experience its benefits.
