Angamardana in Sydney
Full-body fitness from a series of 31 dynamic yoga-based processes.
Angamardana is a series of 31 dynamic yoga-based processes for full-body fitness that needs no equipment. The word Angamardana means gaining mastery over the limbs and organs. It builds strength, stamina and overall fitness using the body itself, and is taught at Adiyoga in Earlwood in the lineage of Sadhguru.
What Angamardana is
Angamardana is a complete fitness practice drawn from yoga. It is made up of thirty-one dynamic processes performed with the body alone, so it needs no weights or equipment.
The name itself points to what it does. Angamardana means gaining mastery over the limbs and organs. With regular practice it builds strength, stamina and full-body fitness.
Who it is for
- People who want full-body fitness without a gym or equipment
- Practitioners looking for a vigorous yoga-based practice
- Anyone wanting strength and stamina they can build at home
- Those drawn to a complete practice rather than isolated exercises
How it is taught
Angamardana is taught workshop-style in small groups, so you learn all thirty-one processes with correct form before making it your own.
Once learned, it becomes a practice you can do anywhere, using nothing but your own body. It sits well alongside our classical yoga and our training.

Such a great place. Holistic fitness with a wealth of knowledge on stability and functional movements. I have benefitted so much, from core strength to mobility and strength training. Highly recommend.
